WINDS OF PLAGUE Announce Massive Headlining North American Fall Tour

WINDS OF PLAGUE has changed the landscape of heavy music upon release of their highly acclaimed, vicious new album, The Great Stone War, which made an impressive debut in its first week landing at #73 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The new offering is going to quickly propel the band to the forefront of the American metal scene and serve as a much needed wake up call to the genre.
WINDS OF PLAGUE continues their massive worldwide touring campaign for The Great Stone War throughout North America this fall with a lengthy headlining run. The Draven sponsored trek, dubbed The California Lovetour, kicks off on Nov. 20th and also features Stick To Your Guns, Sleeping Giant, Oceano and Circle of Contempt in the support slots.

Johnny (vocals) further comments: We are extremely pleased to be able to finally bring the complete WINDS OF PLAGUE live package to the fans. This stage setup is going to feature a massive light show, large than life backdrop, scrims and risers. We want to entertain the crowd and bring them a true show so they leave feeling like they got more than their Worth. The package is solid from top to bottom and we can wait to annihilate everywhere with some new, never before played material. * Originally named Bleak December, but changed their name to "Winds of Plague" in April, 2005, getting their name from lyrics in Unearth's song "Endless", from their 2002 EP, Endless.Nick Eash began playing bass in the band in 2002, but then switched to guitar in 2003.
